He turns to them for assist and luxury on this second of intense agony. Night time persists and his heavy eyed cohort joins him. Finally they abandon him for a nap. The duty at hand is just too grand for them to confront—so relaxation it’s! They’ve settled for a chilly patch of floor. Being adrift offers them the sense that they’re elsewhere in some extended retreat from the current when in actual fact looming within the distance is one thing else.
