“in parallel” is a two-part group exhibition that presents the work of twelve native artists, evoking The Energy Plant’s very first exhibition, “Toronto: A Play of Historical past (Jeu d’histoire),” 1987. Each of the 2023 exhibitions will convey collectively tensions, hopes, and the transformative areas artists create within the unfolding aftermath of settler colonialism.
